Hebrew for Travelers
Haya Kinberg, one of our most learned, experienced, and talented teachers, is putting out feelers for those who are interested in a “Hebrew for Travelers” class. Haya lived for many years in Israel and is well-versed in local custom; Israel’s history, religious practice, culture, and cuisine; and the country’s geography. Ten classes would be held on Sunday afternoons, after 3:00, during April, May, and June. Cost for members of our Jewish Community is $100 and for unaffiliated Jews and the general public is $180. Youth are welcome at the same price per student. Proceeds benefit CABI’s operations budget. You will also be asked to purchase a class textbook for roughly $30 (on-line or in stores): Hebrew in 10 Minutes a Day. If you wish to participate, contact Haya: firstname.lastname@example.org or 360.280.8202 or CABI’s Adult Education chair, Sandy Berenter: email@example.com
Tuesday Talmud Study is taking a sabbatical along with Rabbi Dan, and will resume in September 2017.
